HOW DO I CARE FOR MY GIFT QUILT?
We want you to own your quilt for decades to come, so quilt care is important. Your quilt can either be machine washed, hand washed or dry cleaned. If machine washing, wash in COLD water. Never bleach. Use a gentle, hypoallergenic detergent. Use only gentle or delicate cycle. If washing by hand, submerge in soapy water, rub gently and rinse thoroughly until all suds are gone. Air drying makes your quilt the happiest but you can use the dryer on delicate. Remove promptly when damp and complete by air drying.
DRY CLEAN is always an option, and sometimes preferred, with a trusted dry cleaner–especially if there is a lot of embroidery.
WHAT IS A PERSONAL SIZE?
Our Gift Quilts come in one size. Personal size dimensions are 80” x 60”. Please note that sizes differ from standard quilts. Slightly larger than a standard twin and smaller than a full-size.
IS KIM THE ARTIST AND DOES SHE MAKE THESE BY HAND?
Kim art directs each Gift Quilt and works with a global team of designers from Austin to Australia. She does not directly illustrate the designs. All of our Gift Quilts are imported, made with a combination of machine and hand production. Hand embroidery is used to achieve the special embroidered touches on all our quilts.
Separately, Kim is a textile artist and does make one-of-a-kind, fine art quilts. Kim’s pieces are for display and sell for thousands of dollars each. You can learn more about Kim and her artwork here.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return full-price item(s) within 30 days of purchase and sale item(s) within 14 days of purchase. Returned items must be unused and in good condition with original hangtags and in the original packaging. For your convenience, a prepaid return shipping label is included with each order.
WHAT IS YOUR EXCHANGE POLICY?
We will gladly replace your item with another product. Exchanges will be made within 30 days of the original purchase. The original item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To start the exchange process, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we receive your item, the exchanged item will be shipped out promptly.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN ORDER TO SHIP?
Most purchases are shipped from our distribution center to arrive at your home within 3-7 business days of placing your order for in-stock items. Our distribution center is located in Richmond, Virginia, so shipping to the west coast takes the longest if ground shipping is used. Orders placed by noon central time will ship the same day, otherwise your order will ship the next business day. Pre-order items will ship within 3-7 days of the expected availability.
Because we strive to ship your order as quickly as possible, we often cannot cancel or change an order for an in-stock item as processing begins immediately.
I RECEIVED A QUILT AS A GIFT. CAN I RETURN/EXCHANGE IT?
If you received this product as a gift, please email us at email@example.com and we will guide you through all the options available to return or exchange your item.
WHAT IF MY GIFT QUILT COMES DAMAGED?
If your product arrives damaged, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before you send your item back. We will be able to provide you with personalized service to make sure you are completely satisfied.
MY BOX IS DAMAGED CAN I GET ANOTHER ONE?
Each quilt comes in a decorative shipper that can double as a gift box. If your gift box arrives damaged, please contact us at email@example.com and we will be happy to send you a new one. There may be a small charge. If you know you want to protect the shipper please select our gift option so we will box the shipper.
DO YOU OFFER GIFT PACKAGING?
All of our quilts are packaged in a decorative shipper perfect for gifting. A personalized gift message (up to 250 characters) is complimentary with your order. When you select the gift option your quilt will include the gift card with your message as well as a protective box for the decorative shipper to ensure that your quilt and gift box arrive as perfectly as possible. If you are a member of our Quilt Cash Rewards program, gift upgrades are free along with other perks.
HOW DOES YOUR REWARDS PROGRAM WORK?
Our rewards program allows you to accumulate discounts on future purchases, gives you free 2-Day shipping, offers free gift upgrades and other perks throughout the year. To become a rewards member just create an account on our site and you will be automatically enrolled. You will accumulate points for every purchase you make. These points can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. For every $100 you spend, you will receive $5 to apply towards a future purchase.
Once you have accumulated points in your account, the next time you checkout while logged in you will be able to convert points to a coupon that can be used immediately. Reward discounts can be used at any time and are in addition to any other promotion that might be available. Unused rewards do expire after one year.

CAN I APPLY A PROMOTION TO A PRIOR PURCHASE?
We have a variety of promotions and discounts running throughout the year. Discounts or promotions cannot be applied to prior purchases.

CAN I CHANGE THE WORDS OR COLORS ON A DESIGN?
Each gift quilt is thoughtfully planned, with meaningful messages, illustration, and palettes. As such, we cannot make any one-off changes to the color or designs of our Gift Quilts.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM DESIGNS?
We do create custom designs, but that offer is unique for large orders/organizations because there is a minimum order quantity. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if your request qualifies for our Special Edition program.
