About This Quilt

I created this Gift Quilt as a reminder that we must be brave if we’re going to become all that we’re meant to be. Transformation can be difficult but it is a necessary part of living a rewarding life. So no matter how drawn out the journey or how fraught the process, a beautiful butterfly will emerge on the other side of it all. Radiant and resplendent. We know butterflies represents transformation. I chose to render them in soft pinks and purples to enhance nurturing feminine energy and to promote feelings of gracefulness and freedom.

Yes, change can be difficult and painful. But I hope that we can learn to lean into it because the end of the familiar can also be the beginning of something unimaginably beautiful. So go forth brave caterpillar.
