About This Quilt

When I was asked to design a Gift Quilt™ for the men of Kappa Alpha Psi around the intergenerational theme Brother to Brother I was honored. I also instantly knew having multiple generations of Kappa men encased within the diamond would make a statement. They are all bonded by Kappa – each building bridges by working together but playing different roles in leading, executing, representing and preserving the fraternity’s mission. Each gentleman is adorned in symbolism from the pins to the cane that features ΦΝΠ.  The crimson diamond on the cream background with the black binding is a striking contrast with an ode to Founder’s Day in the same scroll featured in the Coat of Arms tying the front to the back where it is featured above the quotation from Byron K. Armstrong.  My designers and I worked on each detail of the quilt and the unboxing to ensure a special, relevant and memorable experience.
