About This Quilt

I designed this heartfelt Gift Quilt™ as a tribute to aging gracefully and embracing self-worth. We live in a society that doesn’t value the beauty and wisdom that comes with getting older like it should. As we age, we should believe, “I am beautiful, treasured, wise and deserving.” I chose soothing light blue symbolizing tranquility and pale pink roses which represent grace, gentleness, joy and happiness. She is wearing sapphires which mean wisdom and serenity. When you combine all of those attributes they represent the meaning I want each of us to have to honoring ourselves by nurturing our inner beauty with love and affection. I want it to serve as a tangible expression of the owner’s power and potential.

This quilt serves as a reminder of the affirmations I hold close to my heart and I want others to hold close to theirs. I want every woman to expect the best at every age. Acknowledging and embracing their wisdom, beauty and deserving nature, which is worthy of respect. Every time someone snuggles under this quilt, I want them reminded of a choice to age gracefully despite the challenges and because of the blessing that come with each new day.
