Celebrating the Ideals and Legacy of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated®.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was built on the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University by five coeds who envisioned a progressive sorority to fully address societal issues affecting the black community and beyond. That founding vision has set the course for a legacy of over a century of service.
With over 125,000 initiated college-educated women, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated represents diverse careers ranging from businesswomen, elected officials, educators, doctors, nurses, military, and attorneys. And of course a global representation of mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and friends.
What an honor to commissioned by 26th National President Dr. Stacie NC Grant to develop this keepsake Gift Quilt especially for the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
Finer Womanhood Special Edition Gift QuiltTM
Finer Womanhood is a hallmark and unique to the sisterhood of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. So, when considering the name and vision for this Gift Quilt quilt there was no other consideration! Finer Womanhood celebrates the standards, morals, customs, and attributes all Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated women strive to possess.
This Gift Quilt is a soft, usable keepsake. It serves as a timeless gift for self or others that can be passed down from generation to generation.
President Dr. Stacie NC Grant envisioned a design that would embody Finer Womanhood and showcase the essence of the multigenerational women who, each remarkable in their own way, represent Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. I, of course, incorporated embroidered details throughout the piece, highlighting their skin, hair, jewelry and the phrase, “Finer Since 1920.” To enhance the significance of this Gift Quilt, the reverse side features the five Pearl founders, the Sorority Shield, and the cherished ideals that each Zeta holds dear.
I’m proud to share 10% of the proceeds from this quilt will go to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and will be directed to the International Women of Color Initiatives.

A QUILT TO FORTIFY YOUR JOURNEY
So much of who we are as women of African descent has been passed down from generation to generation. My grandmother taught me to quilt the traditional way when I was 21. Ever since, I have been evolving into the textile artist I am today.
Quilts can heal, inspire, comfort, and share generational stories.
I created my line of Gift QuiltsTM to touch more people. They are for those quiet moments when we do the hard work of dreaming, reflecting, healing, deciding, and motivating ourselves. I want to support people through the emotional journeys of life while making it easy to give a truly meaningful gift that warms the body and fortifies the spirit.

A Message from Dr. Stacie NC Grant, 26th International President and CEO
I commissioned this Gift Quilt to celebrate the Finer Womanhood found in every Soror of Our Beloved Sorority.
Quilts have played an important role in telling our ancestors stories so I thought this was a unique and symbolic way to honor our past while celebrating our future. I want it to serve as a warming reminder that we are each Finer Women Amplifying the Extraordinary Power of S.H.E. through Legacy, Leadership and Impact. My hope is that this gift of warmth will be a blessing to you and be preserved for many years to come.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated continues to be recognized as an agent of change through dedicated service and our tireless commitment to transform lives as we advance our founding tenants throughout our almost 900 chapters globally. Like the many fabrics that make up a quilt each and every one of you come together to form our beautiful sisterhood that leads powerful service that promotes education, decreases health disparities, and raises awareness around important issues facing women today.
