A New Quilt of Faith!
As you may have picked up, I believe Quilts are symbols of comfort, love, and nurturing care. By integrating reminders of God’s promises into each of the designs of my Quilts of Faith, I want to create a tangible reminder of why faith is so powerful.
Furthermore, quilts often hold sentimental value and are passed down through generations, making them even more powerful vessels for our favorite Bible verses and why they resonate with us. Oh the stories that can be told! Placing Bible verses on a quilt creates a harmonious unity of physical comfort and God’s love, making it a tool for daily reflection and praise.
Inspiration
Psalms 46:5 and Joshua 1:9 are two of my favorite Bible verses that beautifully complement each other, forming a powerful foundation for inspiring fearlessness. Psalms 46:5 reminds us of the divine strength that resides within us. This assurance encourages us to confront our fears with confidence, emphasizing that we are not alone in our struggles.
In tandem, Joshua 1:9 invites us to embrace a fearless attitude in our daily lives. My favorite part is —”for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”because it challenges us to take the first step into the unknown, confidently.
Together, these verses reinforce the message that fear does not define us, empowering us to face life’s obstacles with courage and resilience as we navigate our journeys with faith. so I had to lay them down on a Gift Quilt!
Can we really be fearless?
Hmmmm. I am not sure but I know it can be a powerful exercise to think about it! Check out my blog What Would You Do if You Could Not Fail? Wow right?! What a perspective to ponder. I think there is power in fearlessness and given our nature we have to be intentional about fighting self-doubt and worry. God asks us to full of faith and not fear and promises to be with us wherever we go. That is powerful to remember as well.
